Advocacy Update: Senate Committee Vote on New START Treaty Postponed

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has postponed today’s vote on the New START Treaty until mid-September. In announcing the decision, Chairman John Kerry (D-MA) said the delay would help build a broader consensus and provide additional time for senators to review the treaty.

The postponement also provides UNA members extra time to call on senators to support this important treaty.
